We picked up Bella at school today and I was floored - floored - to find her first ever permission slip for a field trip in her cubby. Really? Is she old enough for a field trip? I just stared at it and read it repeatedly.
Must resist temptation to take day off and be a chaperone...
Must let Bella grow up just a bit...

For two hours, they will be off-site...she will be in a vehicle driven by someone else...she will be supervised by someone else in a large, public place... scary!

Take a breath and know your young lady is in great hands! Jackson went on 5 field trips this summer and his school went to the community pool every Tuesday and Thursday! I went on one of the field trips and it still didn't settle my nerves each week! Just say a few prayers and know that God has Bella in His care! :)
